For the love of the bicycles.
A lifelong passion for bicycles has brought the concept Radical Relics to life.
We love old bicycles for their purity of construction and focused purpose.
A racing bike must be radical in its approach to form and function – or it would not be competitive.
We concentrate on frames and equipment from the golden period of the 1960s, 70s and 80s.
With all due respect to modern plastics, our bikes are made of metal. Primarily steel. Keywords – singing their own ode to racing accomplishments – like Columbus, Reynolds and Vitus rule in our workshop.
In a world of haste and deadlines our timeless pieces tell their own stories of long roads,
steep hills and rain squalls.
We are in no hurry. We work on our projects with ambition and purpose – but without haste.
Following the rulebook on timespecific parts or correct components is not our way of working. Refurbishing an old derailleur is preferable to mounting a new old stock item.
Handlebars may be the classic randonneur, a porteur or a danish Palle Lykke, for that matter.
Resurrecting old bicycles, we pay our tribute to the racers, constructers and soigneurs who made it all happen back in time when wool, steel and shaved guns ruled the day.
